Zheltykh Skal (yellow rocks) canyon is located on the South slope of Geyzernaya Mt. at the upper flow of Lavovyy (lava) Stream. The stream here reveals big segments of yellow tuff — ancient lake sediments that can be seen on land surface. Water and wind were grinding them for thousands of years, creating stunning rows of steep cliffs.
Some observers see straight rows of people in these cliffs, some see rows of faces that are looking in the same direction. Because of that these rocks were jokingly dubbed Partsobraniye (the party meeting).
