Burlyashchiy (seething) is the large geyser in the upper part of the Valley. It's located on the slope of the right bank of Geyzernaya River, 20 meters above water level. It erupts with powerful wide splashes 2—3 meters high for 10 minutes.
V.N. Vinogradov first described it in 1961 as a geyser with a cycle of about an hour and eruption duration of 10—11 minutes. During the time of observation it has often switched to a pulsating spring mode. In 2010 it functioned as a geyser with a 20-minute cycle.
